When you are ready to do a remodel or addition to your home, the first thing you need to do is decide on your budget. It doesn’t matter if your project is small or large; you need to determine how much you can afford for the project. Of course if funds are unlimited then this is unimportant.
The next thing to do if it is a small project is to find a reputable subcontractor or general contractor who can perform the work competently. Subcontractors are typically licensed for one trade, for example, say you have an electrical project you would hire an electrical subcontractor.
